I Wish I Was Erin Davis

I just happened to be on my way to my friend Pete Cugno's and when I arrived we went right into his studio and recorded The Erin Davis Song. That day we threw the song up onto FreddieP.ca, and it wasn't long before I received this thoughtful note from Erin.

Since my visit to the Derringer Show last week I've received several requests for this bit from several years ago. It was produced in response to play by play man Jigs McDonald who one night referred to Mathew Schneider as the only Jewish player in the NHL. 
A few months after getting fired I was driving along in my car when Erin Davis popped into my mind, and then a goofy song was quick to follow.
