I always loved the fact that CFNY was the heartbeat of the youth. It shows with choice of the company vehicle. A beautiful Ford Bronco II!

Check out those Labatts hats. If the right people see this picture I think we will see a new retro promotion from Labatts.

Pete and Geets - when I think of them I think of those first struggle-filled years in Toronto; the apartment in mid-town, 80s music and just generally being young and scared. Pete and Geets were so cool and they made me feel cool for listening to them...

@Boomer

The guy at the far right in the middle row, Glen something, he worked at Labatt's and was responsible for the hats, and beer at every game we played, so you gotta like that.

Pete was a great guy and as Fred mentioned earlier... he was in his 50's at the time and at least 9 of us in this picture are in our 20's and yet with all of the things we did, he was there with us, step for step and you never gave any consideration to his age. What a guy.

He was a funny guy and also very opinionated... I recall on of the trips that took us to New York and when we were crossing the border, Pete yelled at the border guard 'what's the hold up, I'm just an average Canadian trying to get back into my own fucking country'... I thought I would piss myself laughing when he said that.

RIP Pete.
