Is it the guy who has a huge lead in Toronto's Mayoral race because he connects with the average hard working Joe, or is it the guy who thought he just had to show up to win.

It's pretty sad when the likes of George Smiterman have to resort to this kind of poltics.

No longer is it about what Georgie Boy can do for Toronto in the future, it's all about what Rob Ford has said in the past.

Pathetic. If anything, I think Smitherman's tactic will only help Ford.

Rob Ford may be a little rough around the edges, but he's exactly what Toronto needs after seven years of David Miller.

Jeez, I don't know about that Ford. Sounds like a bigot to me, but I like Smitherman even less. Glad I moved from Toronto 40 years ago.

I can't wait until September 30th. That is the day we can put up lawn signs...I will have the biggest Rob Ford for Mayor sign they have!!! Smitherman is a snake.

My 1997 Ford Escort is running just fine, my 2002 Focus is as reliable as ever.Looking forward to a Taurus or Fusion when required. I like Ford nothing special to look at but they deliver.

Here is a thought...use Smitherman's email... info@georgesmitherman.ca ... and send him a Rob Ford post card. Ask him how he managed to spend a billion dollars on e-health and it still isn't up and running. Tell him you are voting for Ford.

I think it would be funny if we sent George his postcards back to him!

I don't get the double standard. Why not criticisms of Rob Fords negative attacks on current councillors and smitherman?

Ford is just as guilty on the negative attack front...

and tell me again, what is it Rob Fords promising to do for toronto? not exactly a robust agenda either!
