Hack---a lot of what you say is true. But you haven't played hockey. 3 minutes on a rink all out is 10 minutes of basketball. true athletes---lol.
Fighting was banned in basketball when someone with a basketball sized fist sent another player into the promised land. I'm sure they'd love a few scraps but a few would die with thier keds on.
Hockey is pricey to join and play...plus it's seasonal while BB is 12 mths.
Baskjetball is a bit like lacross...stand and pass and pass...yawn.
Bigger ice...yes...would be better but the ice surfaces were for 170 lb guys now they average 50 lbs more.
