There was no rioting in 1993, there was no rioting in 1994, and there was no rioting in 1999. Yet everytime the Habs do anything in the playoffs, the downtown gets trashed. Even so, your mentioning 2002 - the same year the Leafs went to the third round. Strange - I can't find any mention of looting. Have a look at this video. This is how Toronto celebrates victories. Its the most any team has ever won, noone comes even within 10. Habs fans would destroy leaf fans in any sort of competition, and the Leafs can keep on missing the playoffs.
