Habs Watch - One Down, Three To Go

May 16, 2010 @ 21:39

It seems the sweet and dainty Habs don't like sandpaper.

6-0. My goodness! Mr. Halak comes back to reality.

But not to worry, Canada's team beat San Jose 2-1 this afternoon.

Habs just want to draw it out to seven again.

Enjoy not non-Leafs victory.

Remember the Leafs are the better team.

Making it to the conference are only made my teams who suck and have feces on their merchandise.

Leafs, haven't played in 6 weeks.

Habs in final 4.

Freddie P. = desperate.

You really are a sad little man. The Habs are not going to win every game in the playoffs. Oh sorry, you are a Leaf fan. Google "playoffs"

Go Habs Go.

@Boomer

Obviously there isn't a team that's going to win every game. Why would you even mention that? But losing 6-0 in a conference final series... YIKES! It wasn't even a contest tonight. This is the hab team you're going to see for the next 3-4 games? They're flat footed and looked VERY small out there in the sea of orange. You will see a repeat of this game Tuesday night. The only thing you and your team should look forward, if anything at all, is that it'll all be over soon. This is a meaner, hungrier, bigger, stronger team.

Your luck has ran out and tonight was a very good example of it.

Why do Hab fans still bring up the Leafs? Bizarre. Habs are playing the Flyers last time I checked. Well, they were there...I don't think they actually "played". I had fun watching that game...it was a riot.

The Habs have met their match.
The Flyers want the puck a lot more than the Caps and Pens did.
Montreal is too small and too timid.

@ Jason, "Why do Hab fans still bring up the Leafs? Bizarre."

Why are Leaf fans talking about hockey? Bizarre!

Jason,

Why bring up the Leafs? Simple. This is blog belongs to Frederick R. Patterson

Hab Haters of the Universe and sheep of the beloved Toronto Maple Leafs.

I'm pooping right now and couldn't careless less about the Habs. When I am done I will check to see if the feces stained the bowl with a Habs logo or a Flyers logo. Either case I will be impressed with the ability of my poop to be dropped in the shape of NHL team logos. With a little more bran I might be able to create a Leafs logo.

6 -0 Big deal. Yes it's a blowout. Last time Leafs won the cup in 1967 - yes I know that was a few years ago - they got blown out by the Habs in games 1 and 4 by a 6-2 margin. Back in those days 6-2 was a blowout. Anyway the Leafs did rebound and won the cup, just like the Habs will rebound and win the series.

@Alan G.
You Hab fans are unbelievable... what has it got to do with the Leafs... you people are obsesssed!
Let go of the Leafs and concentrate on your team.
6-0... Hahahahahaha..lak.

Hey Freddie Lifetime Hab hater here so I endorse all the Hab bashing. But just curious (I neither "approve" nor "disapprove"): why did you refer to Chicago as "Canada's team"?

Kelly
May 17, 2010 / 21:00

To Contrarian....Chicago has at least 19 or 20 players on their roster that are Canadian.

Freddie P.
May 17, 2010 / 21:23

@Contrarian... currently, 17 of the Hawks 25 man playoff roster are Canadians.

Roar! At last, something to cheer about. I hate the Habs something fierce. I hope they go down four straight, the a*sh*les.

Halak can finally pinch himself, yes it was a dream !

Vic

Who is Halak anyway? I thought his name was sHALAKed.

Vic

Even having missed the playoffs the last half of this decade, the Leafs have still had far more playoff success in the last 10 years than the Habs have. The same Hab fans who make such a BIG DEAL about going to the final 4, didn't seem to think it was much of an accomplishment when the Leafs did in 93(yes I know the habs won that year.......because they didn't have to meet the Leafs in the final of course), 94, 99, 2002. Ok, you're right, no on cares who got to the final 4 once the round is over, but the simple fact is, that the Leafs have had teams far closer to winning the Cup since 93 than Montreal has, fact, period, end of story, the debate is over, the science is settled, etc.

Freeway
May 22, 2010 / 03:38

Vic buddy, where do you get your stats?

Number 1, don't matter that you made the final 4, we won the CUP that year.

The Leafs haven't made the playoffs in half a decade.

As of the 2010 playoffs mtl has now surpassed the Leafs with more playoff wins since 93 and we don't even have to talk prior to 93.

There is no debate. Your team stinks!
