Win or lose it was pretty good hockey.
I like Philly's chances in the big show. Good defense and a fine fine 3rd string tender. A few excellent stars up front-Carter and Richards. Some big strong players...kinda likea Burke team.

@Fred. I will very much miss the ranting and railing on Habs Watch. It has been great fun, as you gently needled and provoked Habs fans to speak out in defense of their team. Like I have said many times, Fred Patterson is a decent fella. He has every right to hate the Habs, and in so doing, changes nothing about his decency. Those who have listened to Fred over the years, or who have checked out his website know what a good man he is. Should be a great final. Thanks Fred.

It sucks that the Habs are out, I wanted to see them go all the way, but I'm still proud of them for getting this far and having done what they did, it was a great run.

You guys are missing the point of Fred's carefully worded post. Notice that he does not heap any praise on the Canadiens other than to say that they should be commended for providing their fans with some excitement, which I agree they did. It was unexpected and hard to believe. That is merely an observation, not praise.
