Just a little thing that always irritates me...sorry for being picky...BUT..when you say he does a 360, it means he comes back to the same starting point. You should be saying...he did a 180, which means the opposite.

Good move killing a plan that was merely an indoctrination agenda for the sexually-disoriented to target children.
8-year olds do NOT need to know about sodomy.
Much better that our schools focus on their ORIGINAL mission... teaching Johnny how to read, write, and do math, so he can lead a productive life.
To quote chairman Pierre: "The state has no business in the bedrooms of the nation."
That should apply to our classrooms as well.

Right Uppercut is bang on, these social engineering types in the education system make me worried for the state of public education. Sorry folks, but most parents aren't concerned about Johnny's feelings about his teachers sexual orientation and the gory details, they just want them to learn what is set out for them. Christ they barely have enough time to teach and do a little Phys ed. Mcguinty must have forgot about John Tory's plunge into religious charter school system debacle.
Sorry but the eccentricities of Toronto's school system do not wash out here in the burbs.

Fredrick, when you agreed with me, I then knew to change my position on this issue.
I read your blog frequently and make my decisions based on doing the opposite of what you believe. You are my George Costanza barometer, so therefore choosing the opposite of what you think will always be right. This has lead to success on most of my governing since your thoughts couldn’t be further from intelligent and successful.

Fred: again your head is up your ass. I sit on a parents council at my kids school. We knew this was going to be announced and it was going to far. The fact that he went -180 degree's- is fine with me. They will redo the plan to where it makes sense. Kids need to be educated but not to the extreme this plan was proposing. I don't think Dalton lied; common sense kicked in. By the way whats your boyfriend Harper done lately?

I saw something about that subject on TV last night. Nice article.
Roughly 24 hours after writing a piece in which I agree with Dalton McGuinty and applauded him for sex education reform in the Province, he does a 360 and scraps it all.
