WOW I have to say that you sir have impressed me almost as much as Halak did tonight. The difference is that Halak impressed with his skill, that he has shown not once, not twice, but in a plethora of games this season in the NHL not to mention his spectacular playing for the Slovakian national team.
You on the other hand impress me with your utter ignorance. While it may be sad to hear some people booing the American national anthem, you are obviously making a fundamental attribution error in saying that all Hab fans are like that, I hope you understand what that means, if not go look it up in a social psychology textbook.
You say there is nothing to be proud of? Are you kidding me? Do you have any idea what it feels like to play in not 1 but 2 games in a row facing elimination? How much pressure there is on every player especially to perform in front of the best -allbeit the most critical- fans in the NHL? I am a Leafs fan and will admit they suck (right now). And we do have some dumb fans, every team does. The difference is the extent to which they display their stupidity. Leafs fans call into radio shows and propose ridiculous trades that would never happen and stick with the team through thick and thin, always thinking that the next year is gonna be "their year".
