not nice freddie..you made me cry a bit watching that piece...i am not the most patriotic person..only truly appreciating canada when i travel and realize how good we have it back home..but feel so proud of being a cdn?..not normally..as i take it for granted.
but i had to wipe a couple tears away about half way thru that.
so sad that we know so much of the US and the world..but when i travle in US..so so many just have no clue about even the most basic things on canada.

Its a shame that the few ruin it for the majority of us who don't do that. At a Sabres game you'd never see that, ever.
The sad thing is its the few who are ignorant who are ruining it for the many, they are ruining our chances of having a better healthcare system by saying how bad Canadians have it which is not true.
As a Border town guy I find a lot of what the ignorant in our country say as disgusting. Sorry that those idiots acted like that, I personally would have slapped them and Im a US citizen.

Buffalo Boy Mike;
Canadian health care is NOT perfect, ask anyone about waiting lists for certain procedures, for example. It is basic stuff only, any extras such as say crutches for a broken leg are EXTRA! Even an ambulance ride is extra-billed.
I've used the Buffalo MRI Center to get a procedure done, instead of waiting.
Plus, Canadian health care is NOT free. That is a big lie.
High taxes support that; which is one reason why Canadians work for over half the year to pay various levels of government, "Tax Freedom Day" is way too late in Canada.
If the Obama-crats find an excuse to tax and spend MORE, you'll never get their hands out of your pants.
My girlfriend is a U.S. citizen who lives in NY, (and has a decent private healthcare plan), and I've found U.S. services to be well-priced on the occasion I've had to go Stateside for a procedure. This, from a Canadian who has 'health care' for "free!"
Any gov't run program is wasteful by nature, as gov'ts tend to roll over and show their soft underbelly and throw tax dollars to unions, begging for votes... and it's the taxpayer who always gets it up the ass in the end!
Be careful what you wish for, when Obama pushes health-care "reform!" Hang onto your wallet!

Go to a game at the Bell Center some time. As a rough guess, I'd say 5 to 10 percent of the crowd sit on their asses during O Canada, while the other 90-95 percent stand up and sing at the top of their lungs...in French. Bizarre.

Sid I call them "the most educated stupid country in the world " they all have degrees but have NO knowledge of anything not stars and stripes
It makes for an ignorant culture
I have heard them being called arrogant I don't believe that they are. I think its ignorance they actually believe that they are superior to the rest of the world and have no idea how they are perceived out side of the USA GOD BLESS AMERICA

Relationships and dishonest are a curious combination, with some couples able to move on quite nicely after the devastation of an affair. Generally, though, the person who was cheating on can’t get over it. To remain within the relationship when there’s no trust there, and he or she fears that the opposite will cheat at any time, could be a miserable factor to do.

Yes, it seems interesting topic. What do you think guys?
August 16, 2010 / 14:30
Obama is largely powerless to stop it though; if he had said he opposed it, many in NYC, especially in Manhattan (the opposition is primarily in the outer boroughs) would have seen it as an unwanted intrusion into local issues.

In March 2010, researchers at Columbia University reported that they created a tissue-designed jaw bone using mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) deduced from bone marrow. MSCs by nature, give rise to conjuntive tissue such as bone and cartilage, making bone regeneration one of the most investigated remedial areas for MSCs today.

I've just looked up the statistics, and it turns out that 50 million Americans suffer from some form of tinnitus. Not that I want to breathe a sigh of relief, but it's good to know that the condition isn't something incredibly rare that doctors won't know where to begin when it comes to treatment. It was also good to know that you can 'hear noises in your head' and not be crazy.Read more...
