I recall a time long ago I paused after waiting for an advanced green only to see a brown Trans Am fly through a red light at high speed. And you know it had been red for awhile.
If I had proceeded I would be t's up.
What held me up I do not know but there was an invisible hand on my shoulder at that moment.

The argument from experience is weak with a capital W. This means nothing to anyone but you, and you're reading way to much into it. If god saved you while killing hundreds of others on the roads every day, you better start spending less time on the internet and start doing something with your life.

Thanks Mikey. You're a wise man.

The more I see talk of God after this the more I go back to my belief, those who are way too religious use religion as a front because they are weak minded and need it to hide behind.
that said, I don't know if im atheist, but Im probably half atheist and half agnostic, how does anyone know and if you read the bible and then do the research, there are so many holes in the bible that it is almost a crime to take the thing literally.

If you REALLY read the Bible and DO THE RESEARCH, (you know, with that so-called "open mind" that liberals preach), you will discover that it makes total sense, when taken as a whole.

It's easy enough to take The Bible, or any other book; out of context.

If your mind is as strong as you say it is; then CHALLENGE your mind by reading the ENTIRE Bible, and asking questions of priests, pastors, theologians, etc.

PS: Mikey: God does NOT kill people on the roads, it's the people BEHIND the wheel that do that. Therefore, YOUR argument is weak.

So Right Upper Cut. You believe there was a talking snake and a tree with an apple that suddenly made Adam and Eve realize they were running around willy nilly. Or that Moses really parted the red sea with a staff? Or that the Ark had two of every animal in the world???? Give me a break. Challenge my mind by asking questions to priests or pastors for what reason??? They can not put forward a truly objective argument of course they grasp at straw. Things can't be taken out of context when there is no context, especially when you have impossible things occuring.

Hey Frankie; what about this FAIRY-Tale?

You know; the IMPOSSIBLE one pushed by Darwin and his ilk.

Those "geniuses" preach that we 'magically appeared' from some primordal ooze, and morphed into various forms of life.

Who was Darwin's special effects department... the weirdos in Hollywood? Give me a break.

Sound research illustrates and supports what is in Holy Scripture, while theories such as "an ape is my relative" fell out of the tree of logic, long ago.

I'll place my bets with God any day.

So Right Uppercut you believe in a talking snake and a magical apple tree? How old is the world? What sound research supports what is in the holy scripture? Are we talking about vatican scientists(which is an oxy moron really)?
It wasn't Darwin's special effects department. It was the devil that put the dinosaur bones in the ground. And this world is only 10,000 years old.

Frank, you shouldn't be leading RUC down the path toward damnation. You know he/she has been taught to not ask questions and simply have faith. There is no need for logic and reason when one simply believes. Pass the lemonaide.
