Every time a Toronto team that isn't the Maple Leafs struggles, certain people start jumping to the assumption that it might move.

Anything's possible, but this is the 4th largest market in North America. The Jays aren't going to go anywhere.

20 yrs ago you couldn't get a Blue Jay ticket...now even if we could afford a winner you can walk up and grab good seats. Hopefully they'll keep Roy.

Hey everyone got what they wanted with the Jays, JP is gone, Alex though young worked with the Nationals another former Canadian team. It would be sweet to see Gillick back but I Want to see what Alex can do with Beeston's guidance. i have heard from more than one source, one of which was Bob McGowan and his show on the Fan that they could possibly be looking at uping payroll to the $120-130 million mark, clearing Rios out of town was one way to give the new GM and management team some room, there is also a rumor that Wells For Milton Bradley may happen and get Well's contract out of here so Doc can stay.
After next year they are going to have a ton of room for salaries and 2010/11 free agent class is going to be a bountiful one. Give this guy a year to make some moves and position this team for a run.
