I won't write much about this because if I started I couldn't stop. It tells you all you need to know about the Olympics and how corrupt the whole process is.

October 20, 2009 @ 19:02 I won't write much about this because if I started I couldn't stop. It tells you all you need to know about the Olympics and how corrupt the whole process is. Category: Stuff 24 Responses to "Surprise Surprise"Freeway October 20, 2009 / 20:20 this is shocking to NO ONE. Argie October 20, 2009 / 20:38 Just Mikey and Nigel, the Olympics and China are perfect bedfellows... Horonymous October 20, 2009 / 22:07 A corrupt bunch. I hope Toronto never get the Olympics or the Pan Am games. Jim October 20, 2009 / 22:11 Nigel know Jack Rouge. Trish October 20, 2009 / 22:29 Fred, they didn't fool anyone. We knew it was a scam. We just couldn't do anything about it. Does anyone care? B@st@rds. Oliver October 20, 2009 / 22:30 I'm with Freeway - I'm not shocked, and to be honest, I don't care. I'm just tired of the US getting them as often as they do, and for that matter, Canada. I think there are other countries who's infrastructure is strong enough to support the Games. When was the last time Germany held them? buffaloboymike October 20, 2009 / 22:53 The Olympics used to be about Amatuers, not caring about money, only their country. Now...its all about the money, most of the athletes are all about endorsements, they let the NBA and NHL have their way, its no longer about the sport, money has found its evil spot in the middle of it. That said, I still think that athletically, the Olympic sports are second to none...the Marathon, Swimming, Rowing, speed skating, the Decathalon and more all sports of incredible endurance and intestinal fortitude unlike any other sport. Right Uppercut October 20, 2009 / 23:03 Yay. "We got the Olympics." A mere two weeks to watch drug-induced "athletes" "compete," after which we are stuck with paying for the overpriced, union-built infrastructure we had to erect for a mere... 14 days on the world 'stage.' And, most of that infrastructure is now useless. Case in point, Olympic Stadium in Montreal... a.k.a. "The Big OWE!" How long did it take Montreal to pay off the Olympic debt? But, as mayor Drapeau assured us... "The Olympics would NEVER run a debt, just as a MAN could NEVER get pregnant." Well, Drapeau really took that fertile wang up his ass from the IOC, as did the rest of Canada. 3 decades later, that soiled afterbirth was finally paid for... by the kids who weren't even born yet. Olympics. Rah rah. If Montreal fugged that up so bad, can you imagine how David Miller and Co. would do so for Toronto?! Romy October 21, 2009 / 05:46 ....In other news today, the sun came up in the east and set in the west..... Nigel Trousershrapnel October 21, 2009 / 09:21 Argie, Pam October 21, 2009 / 11:43 Why does Olympic corruption always involve the French? Mikey October 21, 2009 / 15:29 Argie - if you were forced to watch, I would totally do it with a guy. Argie October 21, 2009 / 20:07 Mikey: Thanks for sharing - just what I suspected. Left My Umbrella At Home October 21, 2009 / 21:17 So , does Toronto get a Nobel Peace Prize as a consolation? Sid October 22, 2009 / 12:08 I remember some female East German runner---won by a mile in probably a mile race---lol...the camera panned on her and she wasn't even breathing heavily.
