John's accomplishments will forever be restricted to being talked into the Bay of Pigs fiasco, staring down the Societs in Cuba, and being assasinated. Bobby likewise in his death, and for being John's brother. While Teddy got away with killing Maryjo. Possibly the first incident of people being famous just for being famous. Jake August 31, 2009 / 15:20 The Kennedys are bigger than we think. So are their enemies. Makes America interesting, confusing, and scary. IanS August 31, 2009 / 15:52 The Kennedys are "big" only because the public bought into the Camelot experience when Eisenhower closed out the war era. They wanted to turn the page and an apparently young and vibrant face helped them to do that. Time always colours the facts in favour of the incumbent. Gary September 1, 2009 / 12:17 Why did you erase my comment, Fred? Argie September 1, 2009 / 13:47 IanS: I agree with most of what you wrote, except the part about Bobby. He seemed like he was destined for great things. It could have all been talk but as Attorney Gen he took on the mob and was not intimidated by anyone, which you have to respect. The fascination with the Kennedys began with JFK as he was the first Prez to not come from an established, wealthy WASP family. Yes, his old man had money (and a crook to boot) but the family proved that with hard work, a little luck and bribery, anyone could become President. JFK was the Barack Obama of the early 60s and the family's allure only grew with his assassination. As for Teddy being honored with a Catholic Mass funeral - that was a joke. Sid September 2, 2009 / 00:47 JFK squeaked in. LBJ was the first of a long series of oil money Presidents. Cecil Luczak August 21, 2010 / 12:46 I truly enjoy the trouble you have directed at this write-up. We're impatient for your forthcoming posting. Please that I recently came across this an informative and interesting blog. I hope you will make another post in connection with this. It is seriously worth reading. Domenic Izaguirre August 30, 2010 / 14:33 You actually raise good quality points, except I do believe your primary analysis is almost certainly off base, effective stuff though, good job. Jenny Jermaine Lefave August 31, 2010 / 11:22 Who ever imagined the concluded developing a mosque at ground zero had to be a great concept? I am not a great fan of either Glen Beck or Sarah Palin however , when equated with Obama and his ridiculous government, those two are prodigies, get real North america, there is lots of unusual stuff happening here. Leanne. Lyn Kamada September 2, 2010 / 14:00 Erecting a Mosque at Ground Zero has to really be the dumbest notion during the history of man, I really sense it is purposely conceived, at very best, to insight controversy. I'm not much a conspiracy theorist however it's possibly shameful or evil, in all likelihood both. young link building October 30, 2010 / 23:07 I agree with your thoughts here and I really love your blog! I've bookmarked it so that I can come back & read more in the future. Raven Cerrello November 2, 2010 / 15:42 This is such a excellent resource that you are providing and you give it away for free. I love seeing web sites that understand the value of providing a quality resource for free. It?s the old what goes around comes around routine. My best wishes, Raven Cerrello. Jackie November 19, 2010 / 09:28 I admire what you have done here. I like the part where you say you are doing this to give back but I would assume by all the comments that this is working for you as well. Regards, Jackie.
