Makes women look stupid too for thinking men are actually morals. No one wins. ie hooking up cable TV ad.

I've noticed this trend in advertising for years and it pisses me off.

But, perhaps more importantly, it should piss women off more.

Why? Because this ad strategy is in fact patronizing and manipulative of women.

On the surface these ads are showing "who's boss", making female viewers nod their head knowingly, smile and relate to their own husbands and how primitive and dumb men are.

So although they feel empowered, they've just been tricked into feeling some positivity, with the real intention obviously to persuade them to purchase said products.

Unfortunately, i know of a few friends who's wives/girlfriends do in fact treat the guys like simple children. Some men defer too many details of life to their spouse, with the result being that they become dependent on them. Believe it or not, i know a guy who's fiancee handles all of his money, and she actually gives him an allowance. WTF is that?

Anyway, i digress.

The ads piss me off.
