The Trailer - Weeks One And Two - 2009

May 15, 2009 @ 08:58

For those of you who frequent "The Trailer" page of this website I should give you an update.

Yes, the trailer is open, but I haven't slept there yet and I don't plan to until the weather gets better.

I've turned into a weather suck and that's why like a lot of other weather sucks I won't be by a lake this weekend, I'll be near a television in my spacious comfortable home watching hockey.

There was a time when I didn't care what the weather was like, as long as I was up north the rain or bugs didn't bother me at all. I could hunker down in the tin palace and be very content, and I didn't mind throwing on a rain poncho to do a little visiting either.

That has all changed.

I don't want to be anywhere near the trailer when the weather is shitty. I get bored and think of all productive things I could be doing at home.

And I've got to admit, my shitty weather threshold is pretty thin. Not only can I not tolerate the rain that is being forecast for tomorrow, I don't like temperatures cool temperatures with gusty winds, whether the sun is shining or not - and that's what they're calling for on Sunday and Monday.

Yup, I'm a weather suck and that's why there won't be any trailer updates until next week, and only then if it's warm enough for me to step outside, remove my shirt and let the winter flab ooze onto the pressure treated deck.

For some reason my neighbours prefer the cooler weather.

Yeah, Fred your a bit older then I was when I turned into a weather suck. I sold the trailer, lock stock and barrel. For all the reasons you stated plus the damn traffic! I thought things would have been better for us people West of the city with the completion of the 407 (403 original name) but, your friend (you know who) sold the F'in thing to a foreign consortium and that put the nail in the coffin for the trailer. The only time I took the 407 was during the Blackout. I was trying to get home from work and I thought I was riding for free as per listening to a radio personality saying the cameras were down.

Warm and Sunny in Wasaga.
I'm heading up the highway in 20 minutes.
Me , my dog and my golf clubs.
The rest of the family and company will be up tonight or tomorrow.
Maybe if it rains the company
(in-laws) will stay home.

Off to Myrtle Beach for a week of golf Fred...

I hear it goes down 18 celius at night, 30 during the day.

But is windy so I don't think you would like it.

500 Bud Light should make the wind livable, what do you think?

Wasaga is nice, we had a trailer down there for a few years, in a good spot too, and we had lots of fun.

It's without a doubt a outstanding document. An submit along these lines highlights just how deeply the concept is actually perceived by publisher.

Amazing Idea! I was only assuming that there's a great deal inappropriate help and advice on this matter you exactly improved my best thought. Really liked reading a pleasurable record.
