Freddie, I read with great sadness your most recent post regarding the death of Bill Hutton.
I recall working for Bill, he was an amazing boss, and man.
He was one of the people who helped launch me from the CFNY radio station into the head office of Selkirk Communications on Bloor Street, and it was, (besides working at CFNY/CKMW) one of the most wonderful times in my working career.
He will be sadly missed..sadly missed.
Our thoughts are with his family at this moment.

Obviously he came after the Allen Brothers,I was at that station in the mid to late 70's. I did meet Bill once in Toronto at a Maclean-Hunter function. Seemed like a real genuine guy.....Steve

Bill will be missed. I always thought he was a true gentleman and a guy who allowed CFNY to rise to it's greatest heights creatively in the 80's. It was a pleasure to be a part of his team through David Marsden and I wouldn't trade it for anything. A very fond time in my career.

Stupid will be as stupid does...this whole thing is actually a joke. Lindsay Lohan is going on to do illegal drugs for the reason that the girl wouldn't "get it"...The complete court process is a faiytale. You need to put her in some prison in Cincinnati or somewhere else in Ohio where there isn't overcrowding and there's no absurd program that invariably helps them get away with ****. At a minimum if this girl will probably keep going to do drugs she should really be "clever" about it and not just get caught...or else, carry on with what you are doing Lindsay lohan and let's get rid of you in Afghanistan with extraordinarily brave soldiers who’re losing their lives day by day to provide you with your ignorant so-called "freedom".

What you said made a lot of sense. But, think about this, what if you added a little content? I mean, I dont want to tell you how to run your blog, but what if you added something to maybe get peoples attention? It was with a heavy heart I received the news yesterday that former CFNY General Manager Bill Hutton had passed away in Halifax at the age of 83.
