I care.. and I find it weird that with all the shit on Toronto radio right now, Humble and Fred are doing podcasts.
April 13, 2009 / 15:22
I agree, it's too bad H&F are not on Toronto radio. I can't make the May 2 function but Fred, it would be great if you could post the show on your site after the fact for all to enjoy.
April 13, 2009 / 15:26
Everytime I listen to Jack I wonder why Humble and Fred aren't there. Its pretty weak right now. How 'bout rock 'n talk.
April 13, 2009 / 15:41
Fred...add to the list the number of times we tried to have someone eat 102 wings for the Really Tough's, and the smell in the studio with each failed attempt. Everyone could talk a good game but few brought the goods.
April 13, 2009 / 16:23
Jack's playin' some good tunes but they need some talk in the am... and sports.
April 13, 2009 / 17:10
Freddie, I can't be there but wish I was.
I still carry my H&F membership card and have framed my H&F shares. Are they worth anything now? I still have a good laugh when I listen to my H&F CD too!
Miss you guys on the air. But as with all great things (ala Corner Gas) they must come to an end. Just kidding about that Corner Gas thing!
April 13, 2009 / 17:23
Robbie J
the wings were one thing...
but the dog food.
YIKES.
that was another.
what a VILE situation.
April 13, 2009 / 17:27
What about the guy who licked a pigs ass. Great stuff, nothing like it on TO radio right now.
H and F were risque with class, you don't find that now.
April 13, 2009 / 17:29
Im making the trek from Buffalo can't wait
April 13, 2009 / 17:30
Still need to know if i can stay on someones couch, Freddie will the tin palace be open yet?
April 13, 2009 / 17:30
Funny that Toronto only has one rock station that tries, giving Q a free ride.
That should change b/c Jack plays better music than 107.
April 13, 2009 / 17:31
I still have my Humble and Fred Stock certificate number 140
April 13, 2009 / 17:32
What about big Rocco who had to kiss 102 bare asses in 102 minutes on Yonge St. He did it!
April 13, 2009 / 17:53
When Venn left Q107's morning show the humour dried up.
April 13, 2009 / 17:56
Say what you want about derringer, but he's in a class by himself in suck ass toronto.
April 13, 2009 / 18:12
Jack sucks because they've got the same announcers on all day. Ive never heard that before. Jeff and Kayli are on in the morning and then when I drive home.
They're weak but the tunes are better than Q,
April 13, 2009 / 18:15
I was....I am....I will be, the undisputed monkey spankin champion of the World.
April 13, 2009 / 18:24
Toronto morning radio. Entertainment piece, ha ha ha ha ha ha.
Reality show talk, ha ha ha ha ha ha.
Mindless chatter that doesn't offend ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
Here's hopin' The Humble and Fred Podcast will be available on I Tunes. Why not make it weekly????
April 13, 2009 / 18:54
Would it be possible to take these weekly radio chats you do and turn them into a FreddieP Podcast? You already have the content, just streamline it so you could subscribe to the feed and listen in iTunes. You could even add a classic H+F bit, GooHead or other audio like a phone interview. Just an idea.
April 13, 2009 / 19:01
I've thought the same thing Freddie. My morning radio has become podcasts I download overnight, it'd be cool if you were available on i tunes.
April 13, 2009 / 19:13
Jack has the tunes, but Jack doesn't have the people. Humble and Fred would fit nicely,it makes sense, but that means it won't happen, and Humbles already got a job.
April 13, 2009 / 19:20
I'd like to hear Derringer on Jack, I'd be able to stomach the music more.
April 13, 2009 / 23:13
Hey Fred,
I try to be there. It should be a hoot. But in any event, make sure that Toronto Mike "the web wizzard" gets it on podcast.
April 14, 2009 / 12:08
I have faith that Booner will put it up as a podcast, am I wrong?
I might make it, but it's the day after I move so it's touch-and-go.
April 14, 2009 / 12:21
Jason: Congrats on finally getting out of your parents' basement.
April 14, 2009 / 13:12
Gee sounds like fun!! Getting together on a Saturday and listening to two old farts whose best radio days have passed them by. Reminiscing about the good old days surrounded by a bunch of Trekkie losers who never get out of their houses.
Speaking of fools who is Mike to have his own blog... Toronto Mike, give me a break. He's nothing more than a radio host wanabee whose latched himself on to two other former morning host losers.
Ya I'll be there and then head over to the Bloor Viaduct and do the swan dive.
April 14, 2009 / 13:33
I don't know if I can make the podcast but I'll sure as hell try to make it down to see Il Duce make a swan dive.....
April 14, 2009 / 14:04
Hey Jason - Just giving you a hard time - no malice intended.
Oh and don't lump me in with Il Duce. He sounds like a winner.
April 14, 2009 / 15:13
hey Il Duce,
I guess those natural male enchantment pills didn't work for you. So to help you out, you should know there is a suicide barrier on the Bloor Viaduct. You should use the Leaside Bridge. It's a little higher than the Bloor Viaduct and there is limited barrier to help expedite your departure from this world.
When you go for your “Swan Dive”, don’t be a total “A-HOLE” and land on the DVP. Try for the Don River.
April 14, 2009 / 15:56
Il Duce sounds like he needs to get out a little more.
April 14, 2009 / 16:34
Horonymous, I think it should be double douch.
April 14, 2009 / 17:02
Hey Rob... it sounds like you know a lot about jumping spots and options. Have you tried both? If so, which one is closer to the Dominion on Queen? I don't want to waste time after hearing Pete and Geets an May 2nd.
April 14, 2009 / 17:04
And Mike, where you're from says it all.
April 14, 2009 / 17:53
Hey Il Duce, the Real Douche. It rhymes? Wow? Coincidence, I think not. Can you tell me where the winners are going to hang out on May 2nd? Obviously, you have way better plans? Let us know what you are doing, OK?
As for H&F, they are giving back cuz they like the old times and Lord knows the demands there. So yeah, it will be funny and a good time!! You douche!!!
April 15, 2009 / 10:35
Bitter, jealous, and likely unemployed radio fella, living out of mommies basement!! Maybe, you should jump!!
April 15, 2009 / 10:42
Il Duce, I see you left the exact same comment on Humble's blog.
Not that it matters, but I've been blogging since 2002. I didn't hook up with H+F until at least three years later. I'm not latching onto anything, I sincerely was a huge fan and woke up to Humble and Fred on 102.1 every weekday morning of the 90s.
As for the podcast, it'll be a true podcast. You can subscribe to it via iTunes or anything else that you use for podcasts. I'll host the MP3 somewhere, write the XML file that makes it a podcast and I'll even make sure you can click play and hear it.
See you all on May 2. This will be fun.
April 15, 2009 / 11:04
I'm interviewing both Humble and Fred. I'm collecting questions on my blog.
If you have a question for the boys, click over to http://www.torontomike.com/2009/04/questions_for_humble_and_fred.html and drop 'em in the comments.
April 24, 2009 / 13:17
I'm stoked for this. I stopped listening to CFNY in the morning as soon as H&F were no longer on the air. The current morning show they have makes me want to bleed from my rectum.
