The protesters made their point. Most of them have donated heavily to a losing cause in Sri Lanka. The Americans and Canadians are not going to go into Ceylon and tell the ruling gov't to give the Tamils land. And the ruling gov't isn't going to do that either. Some efforts can be made to get the Tamils there food and water. Maybe some of the war money they send over can help with that. This peaceful protest must have cost Toronto a lot. Garbage thrown on the ground. 100's of Police salaries.
