Is John Lennon Still Alive

April 15, 2009 @ 13:34

Check this out. Some guy has found a cassette inside a video camera he bought at a lawn sale in North Ontario.

There's a brief clip of an old man who bares more than a passing resemblance to an old John Lennon. Is Lennon alive and living in Canada?

Lennon, Elvis and Jimmy Hoffa run a coffee emporium in the beaches selling $800 mango soy milk frappaccino's.

God; we can only hope NOT. If so; deport him NOW.

John Lennon and his ilk did enough damage in the 60s with idiot tunes such as "Imagine" and "Give Peace a Chance."

Commie lyrics inspired by the druggie immorality of that decade.

As I said before... such a "wonderful" decade of (mainly drug-induced) "love peace & harmony, wasn't it?

However; what about the 'flip side?' Rosy-eyed products of the 60s tend not to say much about the rampant spread of STD's thanks to the 'morals' of the 60s which said... "Go ahead, screw anyone (or anything!), that you want to!"

A decline in morals as flea-infested hippies actually SPIT upon American soldiers returning from Nam; while Hanoi Jane spread her legs on (for?) a North Vietnamese gun barrel. Inner-city rot ran rampant in that decade, as well.

"Imagine" is as annoying as that other drug-inspired let's roll over for communism chant known as "Give Peace A Chance."

Lets take Comrade Lennons/Lenins song to another degree. Call it truth in advertising; as that song was simply a call for anarchy; after morals and personal responsibility were overthrown by the 'revolutionaries' of the 60s...

"Imagine there's no morals,
it's easy if you try;
no values nor traditions,
as we kiss responsibility goodbye!

Imagine there's no real 'right' or wrong,'
It's not hard to do;
just 'moral relativism' for me and you;
and senseless peacenik songs, too!"

Sheesh.

And then; what about this crap... Obama-mon... no-nukes?! Is he out to lunch or what?! My response to his airy-fairy dream... which was endorsed by a recent Toronto Sun editorial of Mon Apr 13 written by Paul Berton...

First of all; you cannot merely 'un-invent' something, especially nuclear weapons. If the naval-gazing western liberals conned NORAD/NATO into removing a weapon that basically won the Cold War without firing a shot, (thanks to Mr. Reagan as well); do you really think North Korea; Iran and those other 'bastions of sanity' would simply comply?

Obama's suggestion that "Yes we can; 'Ban The Bomb!'" is proving he is more disillusioned every day. That 'back to the 60s' trash is not surprising though; coming from the same person who recently stated that America was NOT founded upon Judeo-Christian principles. Instead; he said America is (merely) a "Nation of citizens." Duh. Any nation is comprised of 'citizens,' Barack. That's a real leader?

Another thing; while 'savior' Obama is fretting over nuclear weapons; why did he remove any protection for pre-born citizens? Or; are they not 'real' people in his scheme of things? Planned Parenthood alone in the States will end the lives of 300,000 future citizens alone this year. Add up that yearly death-toll; and it's much greater than anything caused by nuclear weapons. Ban-the-bomb liberals are the worst enemy... of their own offspring, as well!

Communism is pretty well on the ash-heap of history. For the "Yes We Can" 'leader' of the west to propose removal of a great deterrent against an insidious enemy; (Islamic terrorism), that is focused on wiping out our way of life is fool-hardy indeed.

In addition; Israel has every right to defend herself; including nukes. If not for that right to defend herself; how long would it take until some mad mullah such as Iran's head nut-case would act upon his statement that he'd like to see Israel wiped off the map?

Right Uppercut, Imagine was released in October 1971 and Give Peace a Chance was recorded live in Montreal in 1969. So getting those two items wrong at the beginning of your rant, the rest of your "facts" are equally as dubious.

I saw the Virgin Mary on a bagel once, so maybe Lennon IS alive....

How about we ask Mark David Chapman if Lennon is still alive? I believe his answer would be an emphatic "no!"

Wow Right Uppercut (which in itself is a violent name and a stupid one at the same time) sure has anger issues. Imagine if he could Give Peace a Chance. He would be happier.

Obama reminds me a lot of Jimmy Carter. Both were loved when they entered office (back in '76 the American public had given up on the republicans what with Watergate and all). Both have socialist leanings and want to 'give peace a chance'. Carter left in 1980 and is regarded as one of the worst presidents ever and that's how people will view Obama's in 2012.

The one difference between the 2 is that Carter was and still is strongly pro-life where on the other hand Obie doesn't have a problem with women killing their unborn babies. Hey but that's OK, the Obamas got a new dog - so the idiot masses are distracted from his flawed policies.

I'm guessing that Fred meant this as a joke. Even if John Lennon were alive today (and he's not)....this isn't him. This guy can't even play guitar.

Hey Right Up..

presumably it is only liberals using abortion as a form of birth control, so how many years should it take before the republicans totally out number the democrats?

Not long I would think. Then you can control the vote, ban abortion and wait a couple of decades for the liberals to catch up in numbers.

RU

I recall what he said once... "I was over there... we fought so people could say things... express ideas, even stupid ideas... but at least they had the freedom to do so."

Was your grand-daddy looking into your eyes when he said that?

Argie, I wasn't aware that Obama had a new dog. Your comment does make me wonder why you have such an obsession with the man. Is that Obama dipicted on your t-shirt, perchance?
