In "Your" Hole

I really enjoyed watching the Masters with my father in law Sunday afternoon, but I have to say, I didn't enjoy listening to the Masters and it had nothing to do with the Jim Nantz.

I love Nantz, he's part of what makes the Masters the Masters. What I can't stand anymore is the imbecile fans who scream "in the hole" from ridiculous places on the golf course.

Sorry but its right out of hand and literally puts a knot in my stomach every time I hear it.

It's no big deal if a guy's making a putt from a reasonable distance, but these whack jobs who yell "in the hole" when somebody takes their second shot on a par five rank right down there with Hab fans who sing the "na na na" song.

It really is ridiculous and has got me to the point where I'd rather watch the coverage without sound.

I mean really, what are these people thinking? It's something that started a few years ago but rather than going away like it should have, it's actually gained steamed and become something that makes the sport look silly.

When Tiger made that shot out of the woods on the 17th that hit a tree, I swear I heard somebody scream "in the hole" when the club struck the ball.

In the hole?

More like in "your" hole..... with a rusty coat hanger.

I have to agree with you Freddie, all but the Habs comparison. More like ranking right down there with Leaf fans who keep saying, "THIS IS THE YEAR!"

it's like people who are on cell phones at baseball or hockey games and wave at the camera. Or the fans who are on the side of the camera who stand up everytime the cameras does a pan of the area. Even worse is the fans who bang hard on the glass everytime the players are around them...

I agree Fed, those idiots are hilarious. I guess love for tiger knows no bounds - I"m sure one of the voices yelling "I love you Tiger", sounded like Humble.

As for Angel Cabrara, he looks more like the head of a South American drug cartel than a championship golfer.

Yeah, I was pleased to see 'ABT' (anyone but Tiger) win the Masters. Watching Thursday night's SportsCenter, I was wondering if anyone but him had entered the tournament. Nevermind some other guy setting a course record.....Tiger's only 9 shots back!

I was rooting for Kenny Perry, but as for Cabrera, YOU JUST KNOW that guy went right out and drank a case of scotch and smoked a box of stogies afterwards!
THAT's the type of golfing persona that hackers like me love! Not the guy who genuinely looks like he hates the game (and the fans)much of the time...(Sorry Howard)

I find that the crowds are far too adoring of Tiger and many players are far too full of themselves. Personally, I think you should be able to snap as many pics as you like whenever you like. And for the amount of money these boys make, you should be able to heckle them on the backswing!
But I do agree with Freddie that the "INNAHOLE" guy should be killed.

Angel has a guardian angel for sure...smacks a tree then ties the extra end then takes the win later.
Mick and Tiggrerr were gracious in defeat particularly Mick who still had an outside shot.
As for the in the hole and clapping I thought they were all canned.
