Canadiens fans may cower at the shear enormity of the symbol.

Taken from the official site of the all round leaders,

The Boston-Montreal rivalry is particularly strong in the postseason,
as the Canadiens have emerged victorious in 24 of the 31 series. From
1946 to 1987, the Habs swept all 18 playoff series between the two
bitter opponents.

During this sequence, the Canadiens collected six Stanley Cups at the
hands of the Bruins, but Boston has never been able to return the favor.

The Bruins enjoyed more success in the early 1990s, winning five series
over the Habs in six seasons. Since then, Montreal has found its way
back on top, offing Boston in the last three series – including the
most recent in the spring of 2008.

So, even if it's NOT the Habs year, bragging rights are STILL OURS!

Oh, how are the course conditions? Much Winter kill?

And you guys call Leaf fans losers.

1993! It too was a long time ago.

As a matter of fact, since then the Leafs have a better record than the Habs both regular season and playoffs.

So I guess WE still have bragging rights.

Don't think I ever called you leaf fans the L word. I am though fascinated about your interest in the Canadians to cover up your own frustration with the leafs.

Please flame on.

Who can remember Dryden's
first playoff. Boston was SO much better than the Habs but went down like a Bayview Ave concubine.

If they can beat anyone it's Boston. They'll at least make it close.

Whats sad is that Montreal gets the Bruins in the first round but it was the Sabres who owned Boston all season and probably would have made a far more entertaining series than the four games and out the Habs are sure to bring us.

AHHHHHHHH, the wonderful playoffs! I wish they would play the Bret Hull commercial where he is raking up those post season Maple Leafs :)

GO HABS GO!
