Risk getting injured Freddie? Seriously? When was the last time you saw someone in an NHL All Star Game make a play that put themselves at risk? How many hits were thrown at last years game? Probably none.
They can'y get hurt unless they sprain a knee or an ankle in a rut on the ice, it certainly wouldnt be because they were playing with any kind of passion. Figure skating with a puck and stick.

I just can't let go of how insulting the "seems innocent as compared to what happened in Toronto" statement. What makes it innocent, the fact that it didn't happen in the GTA or the fact that it didn't fit the "profile"? Please, either of you - type in Bacon Brothers, Abbotsford and tell me how innocent those cute little white boys are.
If you want to get to the root of most gang violence in this country, let's look at the war on drugs and realize what an absolute failure it is. Grow Rips taken more innocent lives than stray bullets by doods dishing one another.
PS. the All Star game was a waste of time when I was a kid and actually followed the game closely - skip 40 years and tell me how one casual observer would be attracted to our game by that mess?

Hands down, Apple's app store wins by a mile. It's a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I'm not sure I'd want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
