There is too many people dying from the tasers. I was in complete agreement with bringing them in, but something has gone horribly wrong, and it needs to be investigated by an impartial group.

What is the alternative to the Taser? If the perp refuses to drop his weapon (in this case a knife) what are the cops supposed to do? Ask nicer ? “drop the knife, pretty please?”

The moral of the story is, co-operate with the police or you might die.

Argie....you are right on. The media and most people are looking at this the wrong way. The criminal is once again being protected. If the police ask you to drop your weapon....drop it! If you don't then you are responsible for what happens next.
