I saw a few minutes of the video. Now remember, the excerpt released to the media is what the defense wants us to see. It was nothing more than him whining, saying he’s hungry – which prompted his interrogator to say ‘…is Subway OK?’. That doesn’t look like torture to me.

Then he starts to cry and his supposedly awful interrogators say ‘OK, how about I give you a few minutes so you can get hold of yourself…’ That’s it.

The irony is that he’s much better off in a Gitmo camp than he would be roaming the streets of Havana.

My first impression is this.

When one is innocent and accused of something the didn't do, one typically becomes angry. When one is caught for doing something they weren't supposed to be doing, and they are confronted with the fact that they are in trouble, ones gets frightened and/or sad depending on the situation.

Khadr to me looks guitly as sin in this video. If this is the best that the defense can release, its not very helpful to his cause.

The defense is trying their best to get us to pity poor Mr Khadr. We are certainly only seeing one side of the story right now.

I must admit that I am biased because of the actions of the Khadr family. They are a skid mark on the underware of Canadian society.

Generally speaking the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree.

Having watched a small part of the interrogation of Khadr, (the part the lawyers and right wing media want you to see) I find it pathetic. It was like watching a whining sniveling little kid who got caught with hands in the cookie jar. This is the same family who came to MY Country under false pretenses, went to fight against our troops in Afghanistan, the mother has repeatedly said she hates My Country and all it stands for BUT wants her injured son home here because Canada Has The Best Medical System to help him get better. This is the same injured kid in a wheel chair who was showing all kinds of support for the 16 or 17 terrorist caught in Brampton who wanted to start some kind of g-had and kill one of the leaders of My Country. The best that we can do for this family is send them back to where they came from and then I am sure they will be very happy to continue with their way of life. Good Riddance Steve

Hey Paul...you mean that dude from Ontario that was recently in the papers and was exonerated from raping a woman, tho he pleaded guilty ?

You're statement on how people act is simplistic at the least & outright stupid if you ask me. This isn't some kid getting a grilling from the dad next door for breaking a window, it's an interrogation. People do weird things.

And of course the word of some soldier is the gospel truth. God knows they're effing angels themselves right

Someone tell me, why are "right and left wing" people so effing dense ? Please stop breeding.
