Lew: Your post just illustrates the state of politics in Canada - i.e. there is a real dearth of strong politicians in this country. Not surprising really considering the smartest people are busy running companies in the real world and have no interest in politics.

Quite the quagmire; if we give the politicians a raise, taxpayers scream bloody murder, yet without paying going rates, we’re stuck with what we got, and I agree, it ain’t much on either side.
