Canada's Premier Buck Passer

| | Comments (7)

With incompetence his greatest achievement, Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty continues to look for excuses and people to blame for his inability to manage the province.
Six years into a mandate, blaming MIke Harris is no longer and option, so now McGuinty has chosen to blame the federal government and he wants 13 million Ontarians to join him.

McGuinty is a joke and his praising of Mergenthaler’s OC was unbelievable considering he considers himself a good Catholic. You can’t be pro-choice and Catholic – sorry Dalton.

I will give his government credit though for agreeing to cover the costs of insulin pumps for type 1 diabetes patients. Currently, only diabetics under 18 receive the pump free. Finally a good move by the liberals.

Just curious Argue, Do you know someone close over the age of 18 that has type 1 diabetes?

Mike: Yes a few. Along with being a difficult disease to control (side effects and all) it can consume a lot of your expenses.

While McGuinty is correct that Ontario does not receive it's fair share of $$ from the feds, this is nothing new. Harris also pleaded his case to the feds when he was in power. Unfortunately the idiot McGuinty will never be taken seriously until he cleans up his own act. Lower taxes, eliminate the health tax (has anyone really noticed a difference in health care since it's inception?). aside from little fixes here and there.
Six months ago McGuinty said don't worry, be happy, everything is great in Ontario. Yeh right!!!

McGuinty just reflects the values of the people of Ontario. Blame someone else

Ontario is the General Motors of provinces. While it's the biggest with the most revenue (and it loves talking about that), it seems to ignore that it's place in the world is in decline. It's largest city is rotting in the downtown. It's built it's economy on a product destined for the scrapyard. It's citizens..when pressured, look immediately to the government for help. And when someone else does "better" (like Alberta), Ontario gets envious and wants to take a piece of the action

McGuinty IS Ontario. He reflects the citizens of the province. You're fat & lazy and you've lost your edge to desire. And that's not JUST the fault of some dude at Queens Park.

Well said Irvine. We get what we elect. Throw Miller and Toronto City Council in that pile while you're at.
