Even though he has not been proven guilty, I am very disturbed by these news reports. I believe they are true. And that's what really hurts. I have always been a huge fan of BNL, as they are one of the most unique bands in the world and proudly Canadian. You do not relate BNL and their members to any type of criminal activity, but it turns out Stephen Page is human and has problems just like the rest of us.

So what if Page is a member of a famous band. No one belongs on a pedestal,no matter what they do for a living. The guy has kids and he does coke. It's illegal,it's addictive and it drastically changes the behaviour of the user. What a completely ordinary, has nothing going for him, self-centred jerk. His poor children.

I don't know why everybody's so quick to hang the guy out to dry. Whether he did or didn't do what he's accused of, many people have done far worse. Christ, a lot of them are legends for one reason or another. Leave him alone and let him deal with it. If he's got a problem I hope he gets help, and if he just goes out and gets coked up now and then without hurting anybody, who cares? He's not the first person famous or not to do such a thing and he damn sure won't be the last.
