Cops patrolling the halls of schools!!! The fact that its necessary to have them in schools just shows you how effed up our society currently is – at least in the big city anyway. What a great job the boomer parents have done raising these punks. Of course you also have the punks without both parents at home.
Can’t wait until the next generation takes over.

Cops in the school means absolutely nothing unless we change the young offenders act so the criminals are punished based on the crime rather than their age. It’s lousy to put the police in these no win situations.

Typical crap out of Argue's mouth again. How 'bout we just send in the armed forces? The generation before us were nothing but Saints, right? Our generation is the best there ever was, right? The younger generation today is the worst in the history of all youth, right? The next will be even worse, right? Youth is something very new: twenty years ago no one mentioned it. Argue, you sound like my father when I was 17 and my grandfather when my father was 17 and so on and so on.......

I don't know how I feel about this one. I cant imagine cops ever needing to be at my old alma matter. Not until they tore it down and put up a school that looks more like a shopping mall environment. Places of learning should not really need to be patrolled by cops. The bad seeds should perhaps get their own damn school so they can stop effing it up for kids that want to be there to learn.
One more thing, I am very thankful that I got to go to Earl Haig Secondary in North York. No, not the shopping mall Earl Haig 2.0 version, the original one where everyone talked to everyone and it was commonplace to play instruments outside on the lawn. Our school spirit was unmatched, we had special drama, dance, and gifted programs and well as regual colligiate programs.. heck, it was almost like going to "Fame" for school and I loved every last minute of it.

By contrast, however, not to far away was Northview Heights (across from Branson Hospital) which always had a poor reputation. There was always something going on there, and it often involved cops needing to be brought in.
I agree with Argie about something! It does say something about today's society. But.. Argie I don't agree with you about this generation being the worst. You're scape-goating.

The cliques we had in High School when I went were the Breakfast Club ones...jocks, brains, princesses etc. Now they are ethnic. Say what you want about Immigration but it helped form a rude crude Toronto. Going up or down?
