CanadianThinker finds it ironic that if this movie was called "Young People Killing" there would no issue, no story, no reaction.
How ridiculous that a movie about the sex lives of young adults could cause such a stir, even if it does have a shocking title.
Gary Goodyear is an evangelical Christian.
That's all you need to know to understand the fiasco of his own making.

The issue has very little to do with the evangelical right. Its more about the federal government not wanting to fund crap which tries to pass off as art. They want to limit the funding to these so-called filmmakers. I say we should simplify things and cut funding altogether to Canadian filmmakers.
Based on listener reaction to the story, you're 100% right. The only people who care about this are the politicians. The pundits are having fun with it, but the general public couldn't care less.
