What a wonderful country Canada is. When the sole purpose in the life of a 25 year old is to protest the use of skateboards on city streets, you know its a great country.

Using the environment as an excuse, and bicycles as a comparison Lee Breen of Fredericton, New Brunswick will go to jail rather than paying a fine for riding his skateboard through traffic.

CanadianThinker would like to go along with Breen's noble statement on skateboards, but we know how aggravating they can be on sidewalks, let alone amongst traffic.

Cars and bicycles are vehicles, skateboards are not and should definately not be the social statement of a 25 year old.

There should we a federal law that if you’re old enough to shave you can’t own a bloody skateboard. Nothing funnier than a bald dude rolling along on a skateboard. Of course he’s also wearing a t-shirt over a long sleeve shirt (nice look if you’re 5).
