There's a guy in Britain who thinks its high time stay at home moms start getting recognized as part of the work force and get paid for what they do. Needless to say it's created quite a stir and that's what we'll talk about on today's show. CHCH Live at 5:30 Category: Television

On TV"Argie April 24, 2008 / 10:41 I don’t know about mom directly getting paid to stay home but Finance Min Jim Flaherty has proposed in the past a tax clause to split income for parents. This way parents would be taxed less if one of them is staying home with their kids. It would a financial incentive for most parents to do the right thing and raise their kids themselves as opposed to farming out that critical responsibility to a stranger.
