The only person more annoying than Miller is his house boy, Adam Give-me-a-bonie. He tries to come off as the hero in the negotiations despite the fact the union got everything they initially wanted. Way to go Adam!
April 21, 2008 / 12:04
I don't like Rob Ford. I've been pretty clear on that.
I think he is telling the truth and I wish something could be done about it. The last minute deal and the constant subtle references to an "influence" from City Hall sounds phony. The union seems to have got want it wanted which doesn't make any sense. One moment they are worlds apart and the suddenly everything is rosy? I didn't hear Oakley's show about the prediction but I would imagine it is true. Nothing is ever what it seems around here.
April 21, 2008 / 12:45
Typical. The negotiating committee's came to an agreement and avert a labour dispute and the whining continues. As for the Union getting everything it wanted. I think not, after all aren't they just a bunch of greedy Bastards that are never satisfied? As far as trusting a word that fat F**K Ford says about what went on.....he's the only one trying to look good....if that's at all possible.
April 21, 2008 / 13:50
How predictable…Mike supports the union.
I’m so happy that overweight, unemployable buddy in the toll booth will be making about $90grand to do a crossword puzzle while passengers go thru the turn stiles without paying. I mean not everyone can do that sort of work. Right Mike?
April 21, 2008 / 14:07
I detect jealousy in your words.......and don't lie....you wish you had a job like that!!
April 21, 2008 / 14:25
I don't think many are jealous at all Mike. It seems to me that an awfully disproportionate percentage of these workers are bitter, miserable types. And no wonder - after all, you don't exactly build up a huge amount of self worth or satisfaction doing a job that a trained monkey could do. The reality is people want to be able to look at themselves in the mirror and realize they were challenged, they made a contribution, their skills were valued and appreciated. It ain't all about the paycheque.
April 21, 2008 / 14:51
The first thing everyone should know about contract ' negotiations ' is that management and union leaders want to give the impression they are doing everything humanly possible to get the best deal for their side. Particularly the union leader whose hidden agenda is enduring himself to his beloved members for reelection to protect his cushy 6 figure a year salary. So there's the inevitable contract wrangling smokescreen of working passed the eleventh hour to get a ' fair deal ' for both sides which is code for ' the union gets what they want '
And the union will claim victory until the next contract negotiations in three years time where they will accuse management of unfair labour practices.
April 21, 2008 / 22:12
What gives some people the right to insult and demean TTC Collectors for doing their job.
April 22, 2008 / 01:55
I think that TTC drivers deserve every cent they make, and should be paid more. I mean, they have to put up with two-bit punks, late night drunks and other wierdos. I could just do without all the union dramatics.
April 22, 2008 / 01:57
...and David Miller is a balloon-knot.
April 22, 2008 / 09:14
Hey Great pretender THE FACT THAT I PAY THESE OVER PAID WHINERS With my TAX Dollars and I don't even use the the ttc
I can not completely blame the employees.
What kind of businesses doesn't have Maximum Earnings ceilings for people with mundane jobs that we could get a homeless person to due.
I believe this... people should be paid what every they are capable of getting ....
That goes for pro Athletics and Joe Citizens. How ever If you are being paid by Tax payers dollars then we as tax payers have a right to scrutinize and complain
April 22, 2008 / 12:45
To the comment " people should be paid whatever they are getting " does this include pimps, hookers, muggers, and dope dealers as well ?
Oh wait...pimps and union leaders are the same thing. Me bad.

Most major electronics are not meant to handle the heat of direct sunlight over extended periods of time however with something like the portability of the iPad, designers should have taken this into consideration.

Love iPad as an eBook reader! The iBook shelf gives you a wide array of books to choose from and once you click on the selected book you want to read, it automatically prompts you to the first page. It then gives you the option to adjust the font size or the font type of your preference. Just by looking at it, you can tell the device has sharper text and its backlight is brighter compared to a Kindle.

You actually have the option to skip the data plan and just simply use the Wi-Fi capability of iPad.

Lindsay Lohan Should go to Rehabilitation Today,. Translation, this woman is calling every one of the shots which will keep on to help to make a mockery in the judicial program. Your girl will do the rehab thing just up until she does not need to have to junk test any further and be able to go on a three or more day binge.

Start with a Mission statement about who you are and then follow it with a paragraph about what you can do for the company. I know it seems a bit corny - even hypey - but remember, all you need to do is get their attention.
