Put me down as one of the many fans of Corner Gas. It's the Canadian Seinfeld! I'm sad to hear it will end next year, but I understand and respect Butt's decision.
It's too bad the Mother Corp. can't learn from CTV when it comes to developing programming. They recently cancelled two shows after only one season and a bunch of schedule switching in MVP and Jpod. Both these shows had a loyal and more importantly young following. Instead they opted to continue airing Coronation Street, Dragon's Den and Little Mosque. More shows that don't appeal to younger viewers. I fear for CBC's future.

i find the trick to Corner Gas is to watch every frame of it. If you miss the opening :30 for example, you've probably missed the setup for most of the show and it's humour.

Great show. I try not to miss it. The group I ride with was having a Christmas get together at the Pilot Tavern a few years ago and Brent was in the bar downstairs. He came up to check out the Bikers so I got to meet him. Great guy and very nice.

It's worth watching, you're not going to be rolling on the floor laughing but it'll bring a huge smile to your face with its below the radar humour, how Canadian. I watched Seinfeld and all I can say about that is he had a better laugh track. (Cue the laughter for the sheep, excellent.)
