Hey freddie, I think the crackdown is actually a crackdown on the retailers. I know the press is going on about legit people getting a hard time to cash in. But if you think about it, this is one of the ways to go after the retailers. If they are fraudulently cashing in then you have to treat everyone the same rough way to catch them. I don't mind them asking as long as they don't put me under a hot light. I do agree it would be hard sometimes though to remember where i bought it. I am not a regular player so I do it on a whim wherever i happen to be.

They have always wanted to know if you knew the location of where the ticket was purchased.
In the middle 80's I took my mother in law down to pick up a 649 cheque for 75,000.00. After taking us into a meeting room, they asked a series of questions to nonchalantly ask if she knew where the ticket was purchased. I got the feeling that if she did not know the answer, it would have been difficult to leave with a cheque at that moment.
The best part of the story that is now become family folklore... all the way driving back to beautiful Brampton she did not say a word, just looking at the cheque. When I dropped her off I said "If I had known that 75 grand would shut you up, I would have given it to you years ago."

The OLG is in shit heap of legal problems and they can't afford any more so they are forced to cover there ass.
As for the ticket sellers playing the games I don't have a problem with them playing the electronic portions but they should not be able to the ticket games
I worked at Casino Rama for 6 years

Dude I told u I would locate a pressure cleaning service in Knoxville, TNto do my siding cleaning. They did it even though it was too high for me to reach.
I found today’s story about lottery winners to be very ironic. It seems several winners have been put through the grinder before they can collect their prizes.
