There is a reason why these guys are doing a podcast from their basement and are not on commercial or sat. radio... they suck! Boring, boring, boring, boring. If these types of programs "take over the world" then it will be a sad, sad day for radio. I don't mind podcasts as some of the best radio I've heard has come from the podcast world but these tools in their basement are exactly what cable TV access shows are like. Cheap production, terrible commentary and pointless banter. I couldn't even make it past the 2 minute mark before I wanted to jam a fork in my ears. I hope you have a great time Freddie but I think you deserve much better.

Its the grassroots of where radio is going and don't worry, the cream will rise to the top and don't forget, nobody is forcing you to listen.

There's not a lot of people working in radio or who want to work in radio that will admit that radio is in the hands of tools.. and as much as your beloved Mikey tells me it's all about target demos.. they don't know what the hell they are doing.. target demos or not..
And Timmer.. jeez man.. a real fan of radio wouldn't write something off before he has even heard it.. the futire of radio is spending one or two hours here and one or two hours there.. no one FM station and it's 40 songs that they play over and over and over or AM station with a lackluster roster of on air talk radio talent is going to hold very many people's attention all day.. and when it does the tools that run terrestrial radio screw it all up anyway...
All I am saying is look.. this internet radio low-fi shit.. you can think of it as the new Speaker's Corner.. plenty of people were discovered off that.. because the cream does rise to the top..
Nothing on a terrestrial signal in this city is at all innovate or realy attention grabbing...
I'm willing to give anything a chance.. stop being so close-minded!

Let me start by first saying that we at Leafs Central are doing this for one reason......to have fun. We've done things of a similar nature before and enjoyed it and now we are doing what the internet allows us low-no budget people to do. Talk about what we want.......The Toronto Maple Leafs.
I hope that the fun we are having shows during most of our shows and if you don't like it Timmer, please let us know how to do it better.
That goes for anyone. We want to get better and if we can that translates to better content and ultimately more listeners.
Bottom line is the internet is a great tool to provide your thoughts for very little money to the ultimate market.....the entire world.
