The Oscars will never be a joke as long as 85 to 90 million in guaranteed extended box office and DVD rentals are on the line.
But far be it from me to suggest that Hollywood be denied the opportunity to congratulate itself.
I'd rather smoke crack on my stove burner than see Atonement, so if it wins I guess I'll go without.
