We don't need our government to take care of this. WE, the vacationing consumers, can do that all by themselves and you and some of the other bloggers have already figured it out.
DON'T VACATION IN F#$%ING MEXICO. PERIOD.
However, as long as their is greed and stupidity, of which there is an abundance around, people will go down there and some of them will get killed.

Freddie, I know there's some serious issues here with the corrupt Mexican system but c'mon!
Two NWT diamond miners check in to a shitty two-star Vallarta resort known for its party reputation, serving low-shelf Mexican vodkas, rums and tequilas and they're both shit-faced by 3:00 PM?
And one falls from the balcony while the other is asleep in a pool of his own urine?
Agreed the family is getting the usual dissatisfaction from the Mexican CSI team, but I'll tell you that the Dominican Republic is as corrupt, as dangerous and as deserving of a "travel ban" as Mexico. But Canadians flock there for one reason: it's cheap as hell.
Keep one eye open and don't trust anybody...whether you're in Vegas or Vallarta!

In an attempt to fight dreadful spamming over my sites, I would certainly keep a little disclaimer near to the comment box. I will let the blog site readers be assured that I support these people to increase traffic to their own personal businesses if they add some really good information with reference to the write-up.
