Yea man! Look who's back on the air in Toronto.

After an extended vacation following his brief stint at the Rock in Oshawa, good guy John Gallagher has resurfaced at Classical 96.3 of all places.

I say "of all places" because Spike's history in Toronto doesn't really align itself with Classical music but it just goes to show you shouldn't judge a book by its cover.

Apparently Gallagher is a classical music junkie and it makes up a sizable portion of his vast record collection that numbers close to four thousand albums.

Gallagher can be heard within the next few hours. He does the one to five shift early Saturday mornings on 96.3 - Give the man a listen. I'm sure he'll add an interesting spin to classical music.

It's good to see an old favourite get back into the game.

Funny how ones love of classical music is heightened in direct comparision to how much severence you have left from getting your ass canned from your last gig.

It is sad to see the inpending doom of another small radio staion, Gallagher is an anchor and chain that will suck this place down.

It is amazing that this guy doesn't just run away and hide now that the truth of his marginal enhancements and complete incompetence is well known.

People, ease up. The reason that John is back on the air is because he is an excellent talent which transends musical tastes. The only thing is that Spike should have a full time gig to raise the stations profile.

You have got to be kidding Dave? Talent and Gallager? I never thought I'd hear those two words in the same sentence. This guy is a blow hard - good bye good riddance!!! I suspect Moses's pitty stops at part time work.

Jack, I wouldn't call it Moses pity! The fact is that Spike likely has a huge price tag that goes along with his talent. Love the man or hate the man, at least you know the man. I would think that if Spike and Freddie P had a show of their own, they would definetly carry a strong piece of the ratings market, regardless of the station.

i loved watching him o city,it was like watching Ted Knight on Mary Tyler Moore show, did anyone remember his sport show on city tv, he perspired so much, i had to put cat litter under my tv!
