This is not the first time this award was politiaclly motivated. Remember back in 97, Jacques Villeneuve won the award. I am a big F1 fan and even I think that Larry Walker, the first Canadian to be the MVP in baseball should have been given the award. The achievement of Walker was a more impressive effort of individual accomplishment, but no, the award had to go to the guy who received world recognition for winning races in a great car.
Maybe the people voting are the same nut job flakes from figure skating...

Who gives a rat’s heinie? The only thing that ever surprises me about this yearly yawner is that the Star doesn’t puff itself up and award it to the most accomplished disabled/gay/impoverished/visible minority or native athlete of the year!

Good debate.
I agreed with the Klassen pick, and have incredible respect for Nash (he could have been a Grizzly and would have probably saved the franchise) but there is tremendous debate on whether he should have won any MVP awards at all. I hate to be negative towards him, but he can’t play defense and the award does seem to be racially bent.
On the positive side, he not only won the MVP award he has been a great ambassador for the national program and more importantly the Steve Nash Youth Basketball League is a great success. In short, we couldn’t go wrong with Crosby, Nash and Young Klassen.

Lew: You’re wrong about the MVP being racially bent. When Nash won a few years ago he was the first white guy to win it 20 years.

Argie - I believe the argument is that Nash was the first white guy close to MVP type numbers since Bird, so he got the nod over better players.
Can you name one white player since Bird that was close let alone snubbed?

I read the article on weblogs when I leave a remark. If I have got not much to say of the blog post topic, I will never leave any reviews. And I enjoy to read anyone else’s observations on that post as well. Because I am able to find handy ideas from solid comments. I might have posted “Superb blog! Super posts!” then I will probably be spamming your blog. I too possess webpage, one thing I might do every day after i signed on my wordpress bog is investigate feedback to my content articles and by hand approve or reject these remarks. Keywordluv not simply brings you more commenters. It improves your position in search engines being you’re not merely on a great number of “dofollow blog lists” but in addition on a couple of those “keywordluv lists”. Cheers, Sally

In an effort to combat significant spamming with my wordpress blog, I might probably type in a tiny disclaimer alongside the comment box. I may likely let the website readers understandthat I really encourage him or her to market their particular net websites provided they contribute some nice information connected to the content. I don't mind doing work just a little bit to be able to have a nice link.

In an attempt to fight poor spamming over my web page, I would undoubtedly keep a tiny disclaimer at the side of the comment box. I might let the blog page readers recognise that I encourage them to highlight their own websites providing that they bring some reasonable information with reference to the article. I never mind working a little bit if you wish to have a quality link.

Developing a Mosque at Ground Zero must be the retard idea during the history of human beings, I actually imagine that it's intentionally purposely designed, at very best, to insight controversy. I'm no conspiracy theorist yet unfortunately it is possibly shameful or noxious, most likely the 2. alba
