If in your viewpoint, Allen has a right to say something, then according to your viewpoint, the Sikhs should have a right to register a protest as well.

No one should be fired for giving their opinion. That may be the case in other countries not but in ours, we have free speech. If Mr. Allen had told Canadians to go beat up Sikhs, then yes he should be fired and dealt with the police.

Hey Bhaaji. Understand this: Sikhs have a right to protest, but when they or any other immigrant group insult Canada with their sense of entitlement and ignorance of Canadian culture, THEN they need to be told where to get off. The airport is a good place to start.

Hey Ed: there is a province in India called Goa. It was first settled by the Portuguese. They have some of the best beef barbecue in the country.
There is little restaurant on Gerrard east that makes this beef amongst other delectables from the Goa culture- lots of seafood. I will dig up the name for you.

In a nut shell he said, if you don't want to take off your turban, you should go back to where you came from.
How about this... shouldn't a Canadian, Canadian born even, be allowed to adopt a religion requiring a headgear, and not be forced to remove that headgear if it's against his faith? Doesn't he have the right in this country to observe this faith? So, where should this Canadian born, exercising his right to religion "go back to"?

Well Bhaaji, Mr Allen has apologized and met with the Sikhs and Muslim communities.
I'm not holding my breath for the same respect to be shown by Mr Singh. It appears Mr Singh can shoot his ignorant mouth off without any repercussions. It appears Canada isn't to Mr Singh's liking. No one is holding a gun to his head to keep him here. Or perhaps he looks at health care as that gun!
