Yesterday, my friend Iain Grant responded to the Lauren Caitlin Upton posting with this.

It's an indication of how things work in the United States. Because of Lauren's horrific few moments at the Miss Teen USA pageant over the weekend she will probably become a star.

Already she's been a guest on several talk shows and I'm sure she's already acquired an agent to handle the calls that are coming in.

It's all part of the American star system and something we really can't relate to in Canada.

Up here we tend to eat our own and I'm sure a similar situation in Canada would result in someone like Lauren being banished to Wawa in shame.

The exact reason I said I don't feel sorry for her or her parents. It was just a matter of time. Her face will be plastered everywhere. When it all calms down by the age of 21, she will appear in Playboy. Very predictable. By the way, tried that link several times yesterday, same thing today, answered first two questions correct,(she's very funny) and the site kicks me out of the web back to my desktop! Weird. Stupid is as stupid does.

You should blog about a similar list of blogs for people like me. I stumbled upon your site yesterday when I was googling, unfortuneatly I'm not really into the blog thing. It's not because I don't enjoy blogs, but more than likely due to the fact that I'm a bit slow to them.

I have to express, that in all the time I've spent on the net, reading information sites, I’ve never read one as short and snappy and well written as this one, I don't generally , comment on posts though in your case I felt the need to make an exception, it is undeniably high quality work and totally opposite to the drivel, i spend virtually all of my time on the net, reading.
