Politics aside from who-paid-what for the stadium, building a soccer-only facility was the best way to go if the game is going to succeed here.
I've seen a few games when in the U.K. and there is nothing like it...the fans, the singing/chanting, the fact that no one sells any crap in the stands during play so you can actually watch the game without passing food back and forth.
The great thing about BMO is it puts the fans very close to the field. If they built it for CFL too, you'd be sitting too far back from the action during a soccer game.
It's too bad the York and Varsity deals fell through..we need to have the CFL outdoor in a proper stadium like in Montreal.

I agree I have been to OLD Trafford 6 times the only thing that comes close was a NCAA Football game that I went to at Texas A&M.
I was at the Game on Saturday and to be honest
The stadium was nice but the quality of play was awful
to call this a professional league is a joke
I think they would have trouble beating some of the top U18 teams in this country and that is why this team won't last. We will tolerate a loser in Hockey but not in any other sport and that is unfortunate

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate.
