This is it folks, the Toronto Maple Leafs have to win two games this weekend if they want to make the playoffs.
Look at the schedule down the stretch and these four points stick out like a sore thumb.
The Leafs received a huge break last night with both Carolina and the Islanders losing so they find themselves in a delicious position this morning.
If they grab two points in Washington tonight, and another two in Montreal tomorrow night they will jump into seventh place with a tough week ahead of them. They play Jersey on Tuesday night and then Buffalo back to back on Friday and Saturday.
Again, if they grab four points this weekend they still have a chance. Anything less, and considering their tough schedule, it doesn't look good.
And whether they like it or not most of the weight falls onto the shoulders of Andrew Raycroft and Mats Sundin.
At crunch time hockey teams need goaltending and leaders.
