the power of suggestion! I'm now sitting here on a sunny Sunday afternoon having grilled cheese with ketchup and dill pickles. this time using caraway rye bread. and listening to your Beer.com podcast. BTW cheese dreams were the 'gourmet' house party snack in the 50's and 60's. the more adventurous hostess would use real cheddar cheese instead of Velveeta. Love the new format

Hi Cuz great format. I am on dial-up in Haliburton out in the woods so I couldn't get your site before, now it looks like I can. I just hooked onto it so I havent looked at the whole format. I forgot about those cheesedreams. They must have been one of Nana's recipes if we both knew them as kids. I have her old cookbook. I said to her one day, Nan when you croak, can I have your cookbood, she cracked up and said you want that old thing, and I said that's all I want. She wrote a little message to me and I have all the little fingerprint messes of our mom's siblings and all my little cousins. The book is all unbinded(have to hold it together with an elastic)but I use it all the time.
I'm proud of you, keep up the good work, saw you on tv talking about breast feeding.
Love ya, Gayle

That is so amazing!
We had cheese dreams growing up too....Mom would put them on hamburger buns, throw bacon and cut up onions, on top of a cheese slice and into the oven they'd go!
Hmmm..... come to think of it, I don't know why I've never made them for my offspring! One has to share the finer things in life!
Thanks for bringing that back!

in Scotland, they call cheese dreams "roasted cheese" but without the bacon, just cheese slices on bread and then broiled. Once the cheese is melted it's taken out of the broiler, which is on top of the cooker over there, and Lea & P's worcestershire sauce is liberally doused on it. This snack is usully made at one in the morning on return from a night of drinking at the pub. I just had some at 2 am this past Saturday.

I always read the content on websites when I leave a opinion. If I have little or nothing to say about the information topic, I probably won't leave any reviews. And I'm keen to read somebody else’s responses on that post as well. Because I find advantageous ideas with the reasonable comments. I would have posted “Super blog! Superb posts!” then I might be spamming your blog. I also possess a blog site, the first thing I will do day-to-day after i signed on my blog page is look into comments to my posts and physically approve or reject these opinions. Keywordluv as well as brings you more commenters. It increases your position in search engines simply because you’re not just on many “dofollow blog lists” but in addition on a quite a few those “keywordluv lists”. Cheers, Felicity
